Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Jung Yoon Chang originally came from Korea and got her Bachelor of Arts degree in music from La Sierra University in Riverside, California, then attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. She developed the passion to help children in need when she started going to the numerous international dental mission trips to Mexico and Peru. She felt joy and happiness when she brought smiles back onto children’s faces. She specializes in treating children, after having spent five years focusing on general dentistry. She offers laughing gas in the office now so that children can feel calmer and more relaxed during their dental treatment. She treats children as young as infants, children with anxiety about dental treatment, and children with special needs, like those with autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, etc. She enjoys interacting with children and wants to help with children’s dental needs as effortlessly and efficiently as possible.

She also wants to open up this office to all family members so that they can get their dental checkups and treatments at the same place as their children. When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Chang spends time with her family and friends. She loves playing sports like golf and tennis, cooking, and traveling.

Dr. Catherine Nguyen is an associate at our Santa Ana location. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and moved to Rhode Island for college. She attended Brown University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in biology while researching craniofacial biology. Following graduation, Dr. Nguyen studied dentistry at University of California, San Francisco, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery. At that time, she decided to complete a postgraduate residency in hospital dentistry at University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. Since then, Dr, Nguyen has been enjoying her work in private practice. In her free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, baking, reading, and making art.
